One of my favourite poems, stuck on the wall above my computer, is the olf favourite by W.H.DAVIES, the first lines of which are:
" What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare"
I find it helpful when I start rushing about from job to job, in ever decreasing circles, which is not unusual! After all, I don't have to any longer - not that I ever did before I retired!
If anyone doesn't know the rest of the poem they can look it up, if they can find the time!
I will just add the last two lines to ram home my point:
"A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare"
